Abstract

This collection include the papers of Sanford Bernell "Chuck" Fenne, a graduate of Virginia Tech (BS, 1927; MS, 1930), and a Virginia Agricultural Extension plant pathologist from 1939 to 1967. It includes correspondence, writings, biographical materials, photographs, a Virginia Tech scrapbook, and a photo album compiled during a year (1943-1944) spent working in Brazil for the Food Supply Division, Institute of Inter-American Affairs.

Abstract Adam Tyree Finch graduated with the Class of 1893. Finch returned to VPI in 1898 to teach Military Science and Tactics. Finch also served as Commandant of Cadets and Assistant Professor of Physiology and Materia Medica before leaving VPI in Spring of 1900. Abstract

Adam Tyree Finch (1872-1933) graduated from VPI in 1893 and earned an M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1896. He served as Commandant of Cadets and Assistant Professor of Physiology and Materia Medica at VPI from 1898 thru 1900. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. The collection contains VPI memorabilia and personal correspondence.
