Biographical Note
Born 1928. Architect of Los Angeles, California, and the first African-American woman to become a licensed architect in New York (1954) and California (1962), and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. Principal of the Jerde Partnership in Los Angeles and director of the Los Angeles chapter of the AIA.
