Colter, Mary, 1869-1958
Chief architect for the Fred Harvey Company. Designed hotels, gift shops, and viewing places throughout the southwestern desert in the United States in the early 1900s. Her most notable designs were the Watchtower, Hopi House, and Hermit's Rest at the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.
