Biographical Note

Daniel Verser was a resident of Pittsylvania County, Virginia. According to the 1830 census, he enslaved 13 people, including several children. In 1866, he lived in Ringold in Pittsylvania County. His brother, Colonel William Verser lived in Burkeville of Nottoway County.
