Cantzon, Charles E., 1841-1908
Biographical Note
Charles E. Cantzon (1841-1908) was born in New Orleans, Louisana and served in the 18th Regiment, Louisana Infantry of the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. Cantzon enlisted with Company C as a private in January 1861. Initially the company was known as Company I, and later Company II. In Augusst 1862 he was promoted to First Sergeant. He died in Wharton, Texas in January 1908.
