Lomax, Lunsford Lindsay, 1835-1913
Lindsay Lunsford Lomax (1835-1913) served as the fourth president of Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College from 1886 through 1891. Previously, he served in the U.S. Army, resigning to join the Confederate Army during the American Civil War.
