Scales, Glenda R.

Biographical Note

Glenda R. Scales earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, M.S. in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech.

Scales worked as a computer analyst for the Department of Defense and was Director of Instructional and Research Computing at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She joined the Virginia Tech College of Engineering in 2000.

Dr. Scales serves as both Associate Dean for Global Engagement and Chief Technology Officer for the VT College of Engineering. She also services as the Director of Integrated Learning Services for the College.
