Biographical Note
Frank C. Kitts, Jr. was born on January 31, 1911 in Tazewell County, Virginia. He attended Tazewell High School and later joined the band section of the 150th infantry stationed at Camp Conley in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. During these years, he enjoyed going to plays, dances, and football games. Later in life, he was a member of the U.S. Guard Band and Virginia's Postmasters Association.

He went to Tazewell High School in Tazewell County, Virginia, and was a mail carrier and member of the U.S. Guard Band.
