This series includes early SH printouts, calculations, and Fortran computer runs such as Betulia ephemeris, Icarus ephemerides, Geographos, planetary coordinates, and two-body problems.
Much of the computer printouts were created by Gary R. Smith, who received his Ph.D. in astrodynamics at UCLA in 1972 from Herrick.

The collection includes two copies of a photograph from 1962 of Shelton receiving an "Outstanding Trainee" certificate for his basic training company at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The collection also contains a letter from the Fort Jackson Commanding General, Major General Charles S. D'Orsa, to VPI President Dr. Walter S. Newman about Shelton's award. The letter commends both Shelton's efforts at Fort Jackson, and the high caliber of VPI graduates going on to military service.

This series consists of calculations used in Herrick's studies of minor planets and objects. It includes materials such as shock waves of Icarus calculations, Project 15, minor planets and objects, perturbations, geophysical constraints and correction methods, collection of formulae, and ephemeral calculations.

Crawford Design Papers contains two scrapbooks (1961-1974)of photographs, clippings, and lists of accomplishments; a portfolio of biographical and career information; 12 folders containing watercolors, pastels, posters, diazo prints, and sketches produced by Crawford. The artwork features landscapes, portraits, watercolor studies, abstracts, furniture, room interiors, and utilitarian items (bowls, cups, coffee press). The artwork is undated.
