This collection contains four multimedia lectures on architecture, design, and landscape architecture, including:

Signs of Occupancy, Alison and Peter Smithson. From the title card description: "Signs of occupancy talks about two things: firstly, how the language of architecture can indicate its use and, beyond that, how it can invite the affection and the design activities of its occupiers and their successors."

Design Is One, Massimo and Lella Vignelli. From the title card description: " The Vignellis take turns describing a variety of commissions they have carried out in the fields of graphics, furniture and interiors."

Wood and Water, Sylvia Crowe. From the title card description: "Sylvia Crowe is the doyenne among the most respected of Britain's landscape architects. For her recorded talk she has concentrated on the landscaping of forests and reservoirs, showing several of her projects and discussing the related problems she has encountered."

A Tale of Two Cultures, Kathryn (Ushida) Findlay. From the title description: "Findlay discusses how the Japanese see the creation of space and how that differs from the western approach. This is illustrated in the projects that Findlay describes."



Each lecture consists of one cassette tape accompanied by 24 slides that are cued in the audio track.
