Biographical Note

Anne Tyng, China, 1920-, a pioneer in space-frame architecture and inventor of the adjustable Tyng Toy for children, collaborated with famed architect Louis Kahn for 19 years at his practice in Philadelphia. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University and taught at the University of Pennsylvania from 1968 until her retirement in 1995.
