Biographical Note

Jane Hastings, FAIA, United States, 1928-, an early member of the International Union of Women Architects (UIFA), was also the first woman president of the American Institute of Architects, Seattle. In 1992, Hastings became the first woman Chancellor of the American Institute of Architects' national honorary society, the College of Fellows.
