Hannibal A. Johnson Letters
The collection contains two letters from Hannibal A. Johnson to his friend, Samuel, written from Camp Fessenden, Alexandria, Virginia, in August and September 1861.
James F. Johnson Papers
Thisc collection includes speeches and outlines of speeches given by James F. Johnson while with the Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE). Most were made while he was director of VCE (1989-1992).

John Burgess Johnson Letter,
Letter written by Captain John Burgess Johnson to his family while camped near Yorktown, Virginia. Letter is postmarked January 19. The letter details a march made by the 6th U.S. Colored troops from Glouchester Point to relieve Union calvary troops near the Chickahominy River.
John Henry Johnson Scrapbook
The collection includes a scrapbook of John Henry Johnson, a Scott County, Virginia politician, including letters signed by other politicians (including William Jennings Bryan and other members of the Bryan family), newspaper clippings, certificates, invitations, original poetry, and a photograph.
S. Harvey Johnson Copybook
This collection consists of the copybook of S. Harvey Johnson, a 19th-century Pittsylvania County, Virginia Methodist minister. Titled "Thoughts, Original and Selected with Incidents, Illustrations, etc.," the book contains passages copied from numerous works, relating mostly to religious matters, including instructions on what and how to preach. Accompanied by an untitled poem by Paul Hayne.
William Henry Johnson Collection
This collection contains American Civil War materials relating to the execution of William Henry Johnson, including four newspapers covering the event, three letters written by witnesses to the execution, and the signature of Major General William B. Franklin.
William Martin Johnson Papers
The papers in this collection include both personal and professional correspondence, ranging from November 1932 to March 1977. Johnson wrote to representatives at Public Works, American Society of Civil Engineers, the Department of Architectural Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and the War Assets Administration, among others.
