Abstract

The snare drum is brown in color and made of wood and metal. Around the base of the snare drum is a light brown band that is about one inch thick, with a smaller cream colored band above it. The body of the drum is a darker stained wood. The top of the drum has the same bands as the bottom, a one inch light brown band and a smaller cream band. There are ten metal rods that are vertical around the drum, with fasteners at the top.

Abstract This collection consists of a V.P.I. belt buckle and a Christian symbol medallion. The belt buckle is a rectangular shape with horizontal stripes. In the center of the buckle is a circular logo with the V.P.I. seal. Surrounding the seal in curved text is "VIRGINIA POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE" AND "UT PROSIM" right below the seal. Abstract The Joseph Lonsdale Hunter Mechanical Drawing Set collection is housed in a small wooden box with a key hole. On the top of the box is a small gold plate, likely meant to be engraved but never was. Inside the box is a blue velvet lined tray that holds eight mechanical drawing tools. Abstract

The collection consists of three fabric swatches. Two of the swatches are about three inches wide and ten inches long. The other swatch is about four inches wide and eight inches long. All three swatches are the same navy blue fabric with rough cut edges.

Abstract The Guynn Cadet Uniform Collection consists of a jacket and hat. The hat is structured and made of a navy blue fabric. It has a black ribbon wraped around it right above the bill of the hat. There are grommet holes on the sides of the hat. On the interior a brown leather band it stitched in. A label printed onto the interior of the hat reads "WILLIAM C. ROWLAND INC. Abstract

Abstract

The quilt is large and has a dark blue border around the edges and patterned squares. The sqaures are made up of various smaller squares of different patterned fabric. Some of the dark blue edges are lined with a different patterned fabric. The back of the quilt is one soild pattern with dark blue boarders. At the top of one end of the quilt is a white piece of fabric that would help when hanging the quilt on a wall. The main colors in the quilt are blue, red, green, and orange.

Abstract

The bottle is amber with a sticker label that wraps around majority of the bottle's body. The label has a brick pattern at the top, followed by an orange line, and below the line is all maroon. The front of the bottle says "HARDYWOOD" above a maroon gobbler that is inside a white diamond. Below the gobbler is the text "FIGHTIN' HOKIES LAGER ALCOHOL 5.0% BY VOL . 12 FL OZ." The same logo and text is repeated on the side of the bottle.
