Marion Windle Recipe Book,
Scope and Content
The collection includes a compiled recipe book with recipes dated from 1918 to 1974. In addition to the notebook pages, there are many individual recipes written on scrap pieces of paper that have been laid in. The likely creator may be Marion Windle, whose name is on the inside cover. Newspaper clippings suggest the compiler lived, at least for some time, in Oregon. Most recipes are attributed to a person or source, and many include notes ("good!").
