Item: blue blouse and trousers Date: 1960’s Uniform left in the military department. Received 25 September 1975, note attached says Trapp 1960.

BLUE BLOUSE Color: navy blue/black lining Material: [wool blend] [satin] lining Manufacturer: Blacksburg VA: Virginia Polytechnic Institute Uniform Department Condition: Holes in collar where gold pins had been, stitching left in the inside back of the collar where button had been. Holes in the back of lower sleeve underneath black strip where [button] [cord holder] had been Special Markings: Black outline down the center around the collar, along the bottom, around the sleeve at the bottom, and has two extended up the back almost to the top. Black plastic buttons on right hooks on left, two [gold bullion] strips above black strip on each sleeve. US ROTC shield shaped patch on lower left sleeve above gold strips. Light blue lettering on black background. Label reads: [s ? fet ?] [96-34-22-35-18-13]

TROUSERS Color: blue gray Material: off white [cotton] lining around waist and for pockets, mainly [wool blend] Manufacturer: Blacksburg VA: Virginia Polytechnic Institute Uniform Department Condition: Material worn inside waist and near zipper, good overall condition Special Markings: Black strip down the center of each exterior leg, zipper with hook at waist, zipper sewn in over button holes. On the label there is a large upside-down “3” written in black marker over label and material it is connected to.
