Administrative History

The Blacksburg Breakfast Lions Club is a service club in Blacksburg, Virginia, founded and chartered in 1973 as part of the International Lions Club. Prior to 1973, the group operated under the name, Blacksburg Lions Club. The organization is heavily involved with many charitable organizations and are most involved with fighting sight-related problems.

The Blacksburg Breakfast Lions Club was founded and chartered in 1973 in the Blacksburg, Virignia area and prior to that the group operated under the name Blacksburg Lions Club.

Source of Acquisition

The Blacksburg Lions Club Records were acquired by Special Collections and University Archives prior to 2012. The songbooks were acquired prior to 2006.
