Biographical Note
Samuel Davidson (ca. 1763-1842) was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Bedford County, Virginia with his wife Eunice Creasy (1763-1850). They married in 1791 and their children include Meredith Davidson (1800-1877), who married Vesta Peel (1803-1872) in 1824. Their children included Eunice, Samuel, Joshua, Thomas, Nannie, Robert, and Emeline. The family managed a farm and various members owned slaves. The family appeared to be Quakers and resided in Bedford County, Virginia.
