Scope and Content Originally labeled as "Ann Godwin's Memorandum Book," this item was created by Nancy Godwin Figgat, prior to her marriage. Later notes in the item reflect her married name and her husband's name and initials. Since Nancy also appears in records as Nannie and occasionally as Ann or Annie, the name was removed from the title of the item to avoid creating confusion.
