Scope and Content From the Collection: The collection consists of a two-page, printed set of resolutions adopted by the 57th Virginia Regiment on January 30, 1865. Apparently in response to concerns about morale and lack of support for the Confederacy in the course of the war, the resolutions were a sort of reaffirmation of the values of the regiment, its continued willingness to fight, and its confidence in Robert E.
