When the Bland County Lumber Co. went bankrupt some time after 1936, a commissioner was appointed to investigate the company's liabilities and assets. Material in this file consists mainly of M. P. Farrier's handwritten answers to a series of questions put to him by the commissioner. Farrier gives detailed information concerning land holdings and company debts.
