Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection consists of a single ledger maintained by the United States Hotel of Frederick Town, Maryland. Only seven of the ledger's pages (documenting guests' lodging, meal, and livery charges) remain legible. The text of the remainder of the ledger is obscured by glued-in newspaper clippings, the ledger having been used as a clippings scrapbook.
