Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection consists of a single photographic album compiled by an unidentified German soldier during World War II. The album was found in Aachen, Germany during the post-war occupation. Comprising 52 pages, the album contains 279 small-format snapshots of wartime scenes. Numbered but unidentified, the photographs portray scenes in Budapest, Slovakia, Russia, and probably elsewhere in eastern Europe.
