Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection contains three letters written by Delia Brown Herbert, a resident of Bergen (Genesee County), New York, during the American Civil War. All of the letters are addressed to her sister, Achsah Smith (aka Mrs. T. F. Smith), of Lockport, New York.
