Account Book
This collection includes a small account book listing an unidentified individual's personal expenditures, including money paid to Black laborers, an 1838 receipt from the Mechanics Bank of New York, and tavern bills. It includes a note stating the book is an "Account of expenditures from the 3rd of October 1839 in our philanthropic efforts to diffuse useful knowledge throughout the States of Ohio and Kentucky."
Bryan Ackler Papers
The collection includes the papers of Bryan Ackler, a graduate of Virginia Tech (1974) and co-founder and editor of Alice, a Blacksburg, Virginia, underground newspaper. Includes issues of Alice; a tape recording of an interview with two students involved in the occupation of Williams Hall; and a paper by Ackler, "Alice: the Study of a Free Press."

The collection consists of a ledger for the Adams Express Company recording shipments being moved from Hot Springs, Virginia, to Warm Springs, Virginia, between May and September of 1912.
Richard Henry Adams Diaries
Wartime diaries (photocopies of typed transcripts only) of Richard Henry Adams, who served with Company D, 5th Alabama Infantry and Company H, 51st Alabama Partisan Rangers and was a prisoner of war during the American Civil War.
