The Virginia Tech Academic Regalia collection includes: a gown, hat, and hood. The hat is black with a yellow tassel. On the inside of the hat it reads "Oak Hall Cap and Gown Co. Roanoke, Virginia, 7 5/8 in front of cap." The condition is good, some discoloration on inside. The gown is black and made of cotton. There are black velvet stripes on either side of the opening. There are also three black velvet stripes on each sleeve, and velvet stripes that come to a point...

The Virginia Tech April 16, 2007 Archives of the University Libraries consists mainly of condolence items received by the university in the wake of April 16, 2007 in which 32 faculty and students were killed. The subseries organization is by type of item. The bulk of materials were received in the first few months following April 16, 2007. There also is a very small series with items specifically sent to or relating to those killed, which is organized alphabetically by name.

This is a pyramidical maroon and orange bag with "VIRGINIA TECH" (in print or block lettering), "Hokies" (in cursive), and the long-necked Fighting Gobbler emblem on each side. The inside of the bag has a tag that reads "ATCHISON LEATHER INC. ATCHISON, KANSAS."

Abstract
The banner is white with three large grommet holes along the top and bottom for hanging purposes. In the top right and left corners of the banner are two different versions of the Virginia Tech logo in orange and maroon. In the middle of the banner is a "VPI" logo with a fightin' gobbler head and the text "FIGHTIN' GOBBLER" below it. On either side of the "VPI" logo are different versions of the Hokie Bird.
