Benjamin M. Peck Diaries,
The collection includes two Civil War diaries of Captain Benjamin M. Peck of the 141st Regiment, Pennsylvania Infantry and later, the 1st U. S. Sharp Shooters. The diaries span 1864 and 1865, and document Peck's experiences traveling from Pennsylvania, his service (which took him to major battles in Virginia), and his eventual return home to Towanda, PA.
Marcus Peck Letter
Marcus Peck was a Private in the Union Army during the American Civil War. This letter was written by Peck to his sister and contains information about his living quarters as well as his daily activities while stationed at Camp Abercrombie in Virginia. Shortly after this letter was written Peck was killed.
Josephus W. Pell Papers
This collection contains a rare account of the raid on King's saltworks in Saltville, Virginia written by Josephus W. Pell. The collection also contains a letter written on Sanitary Commision Stationary to Pell's parents concerning their horses and home.

This collection contains the journal of Philip G. Peltz, United States Navy engineer, during his service as chief engineer aboard the U.S.S. Dacotah and the beginning of his service as chief engineer aboard the U.S.S. Minnesota.

James R. Perdue Family Collection
This collection includes the papers of James R. Perdue and his family. Items include a program for the Battle of the Crater reunion, a Sunday School concert flyer, seven obituaries for Perdue, a letter from J. R. Perdue, Jr., and two ledgers. Perdue (1837-1915) was a banker from Manchester, Virginia, and served as a Confederate soldier in the Otey Battery, Virginia Artillery during the American Civil War.
Alfred Henry Dashiell Perkins Memoir
The collection includes an undated typescript copy of Alfred Henry Dashiell Perkins’s memoir, describing his time as a Confederate soldier in the 7th Tennessee Cavalry during the American Civil War.
