Abstract The Rayo Incubator Co. Inc. was incorporated in 1912 in Omaha, Nebraska for the production of artificial egg incubators to hatch chicks. The Omaha Daily Bee reported on November 12, 1912 that the Rayo Incubator Company built a new factory to produce at least 5,000 incubators per year. Many other articles from the Omaha newspapers, including one in Polish, similarly advertise the benefits of a Rayo Incubator toward making a profit from incubation and chicken-raising....
