Charles A. Townsend Letter
This collection contains a short letter from Charles A. Townsend, chief clerk of the United States of America, while at Guantánamo, Cuba, on August 14, 1898, during the Spanish American War, to his brother, Joseph Townsend. The letter discusses events during the Spanish-American War in Puerto Rico, including racist remarks about the "colored" troops fighting in the war.
USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Commemorative Envelopes
This collection contains two empty envelopes from the commisioning of the aircraft carrier, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, on October 18, 1977, named in honor of the late U.S. President. The envelope also has the name of the Captain of the ship, who was William E. Ramsey.

Henry Whitman Papers
This collections contains papers and letters addressed to Henry Whitman, the Justice of the Peace for Wythe County, Virginia, in the mid-1800s. Two relate to the purchasing of a bridle and of leather, and another letter relates information about the American Civil War.
