Isaac White Letters

Many of the letters are written while encamped along the Shenandoah Valley. Other papers include literature gathered by Bess Duvall White Snead, White's grand-daughter, in her search for military information about Isaac White.

This collections contains papers and letters addressed to Henry Whitman, the Justice of the Peace for Wythe County, Virginia, in the mid-1800s. Most documents contain information about different legal dispitutes and issues.
