Map depicting the C & O Railroad network in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern states (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington, DC, and New York. Though undated, the map was issued some time between 1947, when the C & O acquired the Pere Marquette Railway of Michigan and Ontario, and 1972, when it adopted a new corporate name following a merger with the ancient Baltimore & Ohio Railroad.

Graham Claytor, a 1906 graduate of Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College (later Virginia Polytechnic Institute) and an executive overseeing the operations of a number of American Gas and Electric Company subsidiaries during the 20th century. It includes correspondence, reports, and printed materials relating to personal financial matters, business operations, Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and ham radio.
William F. Drumeller, Jr., Collection
The William F. Drumeller, Jr., Collection, 1909-1991, includes Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI) publications, school papers (including notes and notebooks), ephemera, engineering publications and reports, correspondences, and photographs of Drumeller, a student and cadet at VPI from 1942-1943 and 1946-1949. Materials describe the railway and coal industries in West Virginia in the mid- to late twentieth century.
