Merwin Leven Papers
This collection contains papers belonging to Merwin Leven (1929-2007) during his time as a student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute (V.P.I.) from 1948-1950, mostly related to the Corps of Cadets and other student organizations. Contents include club membership cards, V.P.I. military science question and answer sheets, a Company D guard detail sheet, a humorous Company G "delinquency sheet," and a printout of the December 1949 issue of "The Lord Reading Club News."
Ernest Bane Lewey Papers
Pulaski County, Virginia. VPI class of 1927. Collection consists of Virginia Polytechnic Institute Department of Chemistry notebook dated April 11, 1924; Ironclad Composition Book with English class notes c. 1924-25; VPI Athletic Association season ticket book no. 612 for 1926-27; checkbook for Farmers and Merchant Bank of Blacksburg with entries for March and April 1927.
Lewis A. Hall Banjo and Case
This four-stringed tenor banjo and case previously belonged to Lewis A. Hall, a member of the Collegians band in the 1920s. Handwritten on the banjo head is "THE COLLEGIANS" in black at the top, "VPI" in red across the center, and "BLACKSBURG, VA." in black on the bottom. The peghead identifies the brandname "Bruno."

Arthur B. Massey Papers
The collection contains field notes; essays and studies; laboratory course outlines; printed materials; and photographs of trees on the Virginia Tech Campus from Arthur Ballard Massey, plant pathologist, assistant professor of botany at Alabama Polytechnic Institute, professor of biology at Virginia Tech, and member of the Virginia Academy of Science.
