VT Seal Cross Stitch
The Virginia Tech Cross stitch is mounted on cardboard with staples, the edges of the fabric sealed with tape. The base of the cross stitch is done in a cream color, with a maroon and orange Virginia Tech seal in the center. Some of the details of the seal are stitched in green, yellow, grey, and cream. Around the seal is text that reads "VIRGINIA POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE AND STATE UNIVERSITY." In maroon stitching in the bottom right hand corner is the text "THW '70."

The needlework depicts the VT Seal on the center of a square needlepoint canvas. The base of the cross stitch is done in a cream color, with a maroon and orange Virginia Tech seal in the center. Records of War Memorial Chapel
The Records of War Memorial Chapel contain architectural records, posters, photographs, and prints pertaining to Virginia Tech’s War Memorial Chapel - including the Memorial Court, pylons, and cenotaph - and its construction in the 1950s and early 1960s. There are also a few pamphlets detailing the dedication and commemoration of the chapel, as well as records from the chapel after it was opened.
Robert Barnes Ware Collection
The Robert Barnes Ware Collection includes a postcard from Virginia Polytechnic Institute alumnus Ware (1914-1944) to his future wife Martha Wood, Jan. 3, 1935, about life at V.P.I., a pamphlet for Memorial Service at V.P.I., May 12, 1946, and a program for Memorial Service, May 12, 1946. During World War II, Ware served as a Battalion Surgeon for the U.S. Army and died during the D-Day landings at Normandy.
Erwin Hoge Will Papers
The collection consists of materials regarding the professional, civic, and personal activities of Erwin Hoge Will.
I. D. Wilson Letters
Bound volume containing letters of tribute to I. D. (Irl Donaker) Wilson, a Virginia Polytechnic Institute (today Virginia Tech) professor of biology (1923-1957), written by students, colleagues, and friends, upon Wilson's retirement in 1958.
Henry H. Wiss Papers
Professor of Architecture at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from 1947 to 1983. Collection consists of twelve architectural drawings and four photographs of Wiss's private residence in Blacksburg, Virginia, designed by him in 1960.
Charles S. Worley, Jr., Collection
The Charles S. Worley, Jr., Collection consist of architectural drawings of designs by Worley, done from the mid-1950s to the early 1960s, with several designs undated. The collection also includes a small group of photographs and negatives of Worley and his own residence in Blacksburg, as well as an extensive collection of slides documenting Worley's student and professional work, work of his students, his travels, nature, and images that were likely used as part of lectures.
Harold N. Young Papers
The collection includes papers by Harold N. Young relating to education in Virginia, as well as an original poem.
