The Faculty/Staff Photograph Collection at Special Collections consists of the photographs, portrait reproductions, and negatives of Virginia Tech employees, dating back to the 1890s.
Paul H. Farrier Family Papers
This collection contains materials relating to Paul H. Farrier and his daughter Pence Farrier, a former Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI) Director of Admissions and a VPI alumnus, respectively, during the years of 1936 to 1970. Included are administrative papers such as business correspondence and admissions reports as well as general VPI memorabilia for campus events and activities, such as newspaper clippings, invitations, programs, and tickets.
Adam Finch Collection
Adam T. Finch Papers
Adam Tyree Finch (1872-1933) graduated from VPI in 1893 and earned an M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1896. He served as Commandant of Cadets and Assistant Professor of Physiology and Materia Medica at VPI from 1898 thru 1900. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. The collection contains VPI memorabilia and personal correspondence.

This collection contains course and teaching related materials, photographs, manuscripts, audiovisual and electronic material, scrapbooks, and the professional and personal correspondence of Marshall William Fishwick, professor of Humanities and Communication Studies at Virginia Tech, 1976-2003.
G. Preston Frazer Artwork
This collection contains eighteen (18) sketches and drawings created by G. Preston Frazer (1908-2003), a professor of art at Virginia Tech. The majority of the drawings depict scenes of Blacksburg, Virginia, and the Virginia Tech campus, though several of the drawings depict nude models. This collection also contains a sketchpad that belonged to Frazer.
G. Preston Frazer Collection
The collection contains correspondence between G. Preston Frazer and Marcus L. Oliver. Additional materials include photocopies of newspaper articles, a signed Sixteen Pencil Impressions from Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A. booklet, and Frazer's obituary.

Charles Clement French served as Vice-President of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute from January 1949 through August 1950. The collection contains primarily correspondence but also travel vouchers, budget materials, and materials related to the American Chemical Society of Virginia, American Council on Education, Board of Control of Southern Regional Education; Educational Policy and Program Committee; General Education Board; and student alcohol consumption.
