The Map of 1937 Merrimac Community is a map of the Merrimac coal mining community in Montgomery County, Virginia, as it was in 1937. It was produced by the Appalachian Studies Program and the Landscape Architecture Program at Virginia Tech in 1996.

Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection consists primarily of a two boxes pocket/folded maps and travel guides from about 1852-1955. In addition, there are several folders of personal papers from the Clifford and Wysor families, some of whom are likely responsible for collecting the maps and guides.
