Sutton-Martin-Mason Family Papers
This collection consists of the papers of a Pulaski County, Virginia family, largely consisting of letters received by Rachel Louisa Sutton (later married to David H. Martin) from friends and family during the 1860s. Also contains deeds, family financial records, poetry, photographs and assorted ephemera. A small collection of materials belonging to the Martins' granddaughter, Elinor Mason, completes the collection.

The collection includes Civil War-era correspondence between King David Richards and his wife, Harriet Love Richards, describing several accounts of battles fought by the Confederate Army's 57th Virginia Infantry during the years 1862 and 1863.
Willam H. Yeaman Papers
The collection contains fifteen American Civil War letters from William H. Yeaman, a Confederate soldier in Company A, 38th Virginia Infantry, Armistead's Brigade, Pickett's Division, Army of Northern Virginia, to his father and brother at home. Primarily contains battle description, depictions of soldier life, and inquiries of home life.
