Rudolph Dixon Michael Papers
This collection contains the papers of Virginia Tech alumnus and agricultural information editor, Rudolph Dixon Michael. It contains correspondence and notes relating to the histories Blacksburg, the Preston family, and Smithfield Plantation (including maps of the grounds and the cemetery). It also contains a few campus photographs and printed materials related to Virginia Tech.

The collection contains the papers of Virginia Tech graduate, professor of modern languages, and director of athletics Clarence Paul "Sally" Miles, including grade books for courses in French and German, together with personal memorabilia and photographs.
F. P. Miles Letter to Henry C. Wysor
The F. P. Miles Letter to Henry C. Wysor was a letter written by Miles in Blacksburg, Virginia, on July 18, 1889, to Wysor in Dublin, Virginia. The letter details an insurance payment to Wysor and is written on Virginia Agriculture and Mechanical College (now Virginia Tech) letterhead. Miles (1860-1890) was a professor of chemistry and geology at the college, while Wysor (1847-1927) was an agent for the New-York Life Insurance Company.

Charles L. C. Minor Cash Book and Edward P. Harmon Civil War Diary Collection
The collection contains a Civil War-era cash book of Captain Charles L. C. Minor, Confederate Army ordnance officer and first president of Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College (1872-1879). Also contains diary entries of Union Army Private Edward P. Harmon, 5th Maine Infantry, for May-June 1864. Accompanied by research materials on the two soldiers (including maps, muster rolls, and pension notes) and a complete photocopy of the cash book/diary.
Henry M. Morris Papers,
This collection contains papers relating to Morris's career as a hydraulic engineer and his position as director of the Institute for Creation Research. The materials date from 1937 to 1999 and include course materials (exams, notes), his M.S. thesis and Ph.D. dissertation, publications, technical reports, correspondence concerning such topics as hydraulic engineering and soil mechanics, and publications and pamphlets from the Institute of Creation Research.

The Nicholas C. Mullins Papers consists primarily of material concerning a ten year research project studying sociology citations in international journals. The collection includes working papers, correspondence, grant materials, and audio interviews from the 1960s-1988.

The John Murray Papers document the participation of John Murray, a Virginia Tech chemistry professor from 1942 to 1971, in Virginia's ornithological community. Collected materials include manuscript articles, scholarly correspondence, and bird watching logs which focus largely on Montgomery County, Virginia.
