Hallett Swift Account Book
This collection consists of a single account book, apparently maintained by Hallett Swift, of Wareham, Massachusetts, detailing sales of produce (chiefly corn and potatoes) and other goods, with credits to customers for cash, goods, labor and services. Also used as recipe book, featuring both handwritten and clipped recipes.
Fritz B. Talbot Diary
This collecton contains the diary of Fritz Bradley Talbot who was a pioneer in pediatric medicine. Covers activities between May 1917 and June 1919, with particular entries around children's heath and Talbot's work with the Council of National Defense (CND) to establish a Committee on Child Welfare (CCW).

The collection contains 12 menus from lunches and dinners at the Greenbrier Resort (White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia) between 1973 and 1976, as well as one from a dinner in 1986.
The Major School of Bartending Manual
This binder contains a 1965 revised edition of a 1937 manual for students at the Los Angeles Modern Bartending School, later The Major School of Bartending. The manual has directions for tips and hints for bartenders, as well as a wide selection of standard and tropical cocktail recipes.
Thomas Family Recipe Books,
The collection contains two handwritten recipe books from the Thomas Family of Baltimore, Maryland. These cookbooks highlight Maryland specialities (oysters, clams, crabs, and terrapins), as well as preserves, cakes, puddings, and other dishes. The majority of the recipes range from the 1870s to the 1910s, but at least one dates back to 1831.
William S. Tippett Letter
The collection consists of a single letter from Sgt William S. Tippett to his wife, Maggie. Written from a parole camp in Annapolis, Maryland, the letter opens with Tippett's comments on news from home. A majority of the letter, however,details his stay in Belle Island prison (Richmond) from September 1863 until early March 1864. In particular, he describes the food (or lack of) and the poor conditions.
True & Blanchard Receipt
The True & Blanchard Receipt addressed to E. T. Goodnough is dated Febuary 26, 1894. The receipt includes a list of items and their prices bought over the course of a year, it records the payment date of April 16th.
Union Soldier "Jesey" Letter
This collection contains a letter written by "Jesey", a Union soldier during the American Civil War, to his parents about the gifts they sent him, the food he's eating, and getting sick.
