Benjamin Cottrell Papers
This collection contains the papers, photographs, diplomas, certificates, correspondence, and scrapbooks of Benjamin Cottrell from 1910-1983. Cottrell, a 1916 VPI graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering, spent part of his career working on railroads and highways in Central and South America.
John A. Coulter Collection on Richard T. Shea, Jr.
The collection contains information gathered by Lieutenant Colonel John A. Coulter II while he was researching the life and military service of Richard T. Shea, Jr. The materials include biographical information about Shea from the 1940's and 1950's and writings from the second half of the 20th century about him and the Battle of Pork Chop Hill.

Virginia Tech instructional assistant in surveying and drawing (1903-1904); Georgia School of Technology Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Civil Engineering. Collection consists of a letter from Counselman to a Mr. L. O’Shaughnessy (VPI civil engineering instructor 1904-1905).
