On the verso is advertising for "Bicknell's Syrup", a cholera remedy, which contains description of a "purely vegetable" remedy for cholera prepared by Edward Sutton, Providence, Rhode Island, Demas Barnes & Co., as well as a testimony from wholesale dealer Benjamin Hall.
