A. H. and William Gibboney Letter
The collection contains a letter sent from Tazewell, Virginia, in 1882 by A. H. and William Gibboney to W. R. Wharton, Esquire, concerning the breach of payment for workers that have left the corps of the Norfolk and Western Railroad (previously the Atlantic, Mississippi and Ohio Railroad).
James M. Gibboney Letter,
This collection contains a transcript of James M. Gibboney's letter to his children detailing his life experiences. Gibboney recalls his actions defending the town of Wytheville, Virginia, during Toland's Raid on July 18, 1863.
Charlotte C. Giesen Papers
The collection consists of a taped interview (April 1987) with Charlotte C. Giesen, by Samantha J. Hall, a student at Virginia Tech, with a history paper on Giesen prepared by Hall.
Giles County (Virginia) Building Supply Co. Ledger
This collection contains a ledger, 1897-1901, of a building supply company, possibly in Giles County, Virginia. The sales listed in the ledger are for hardware, lumber, and building supplies. Some of the busineses that are listed in the ledger include the Farrier Bros. (Pembroke), Sinking Spring Milling Co. (Newport), and the Mountain Lake Hotel, all of which are in Giles County.
W. B. Gilmer Papers
The W. B. Gilmer Papers document the Defenders of State Sovereignty and Individual Liberties from 1954-1962. The organization was formed to prevent integration in Virginia's public schools. The collection includes broadsides, circulars, letters, certificate of incorporation, newsletters and memos, and newspaper clippings.

Gary Ann Giovanni Culinary Papers
This collection includes the papers of Gary Ann Giovanni, a chef, caterer, and cooking teacher active in Blacksburg, Virginia. The collection contains records, menus, and recipes from her catering jobs and from the cooking classes she taught for the local YMCA Open University. Materials also relate to the various community organizations for which Gary worked or volunteered, and some materials are associated with her sister, poet Nikki Giovanni.
