Letter from two young women, A. E. Wood and M. [Jones?], living in Virginia during the American Civil War, written to "Aunt Ann" and relating to local depredations of Union soldiers and news of family and neighbors.

The collection contains a minute book of the Zion Hill Church, which was used to track meetings and misconduct. Also included is "The Triangular School Review," a publication made by teachers that includes updates on local public schools.
