International Archive of Women in Architecture (IAWA)

The International Union of Women Architects (UIFA) was founded in 1963 by Solange d'Herbez de la Tour. The organization aims to promote women in the profession by increasing the public's awareness of contributions made to the field by women and by creating a network of international colleagues. UIFA encourages the exchange of information through its regular conferences hosted by participating chapters from around the globe.

The Vera Jansone Architectural Collection primarily consists of drawings documenting Jansone (1915-2004)'s career as a student at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, Paris and as a professional architect in California.

This collection contains a mix of biographical information, project records, and architectural drawings. Records include drawings for 112 architectural projects from the architect Joan Wood and her Boston-based firm, Joan Wood Architects, along with some notes, correspondence, and project photographs. The later addition contains paper records, photographic materials, and design records for 73 named clients in the Boston area.

Jane Hall Johnson (1919-2001) was an architect in Boston and St. Louis. The architectural collection contains drawings, blueprints, and photographs of Johnson's architectural projects.

Noemi Judkovski is an architect in Israel. The collection consists of photographs of Judkovski's designs, mostly exteriors, of kibboutzes in Israel attached to three wooden panels.

Architect Nevena Kechedzhieva worked for the Bulgarian State Design Organization until 1984, and now designs for private clients. The collection contains her designs for residential and commercial projects in Bulgaria, Nigeria and Yemen from 1971 to 1989.

The Snezha Todorova Khristova Architectural Papers consist of drawings for three projects - "Khisaria Two," "Mother and Child," and a physiotherapy, rehabilitation and recreation center for the State Council and the Council of Ministers located in Bankia, Bulgaria.

Linda Kiisk is an artist, architect, and educator specializing in sustainable design and historic preservation. This collection documents her personal and professional activities between 1968-2013, including her architectural studies, organizational activities, travel, projects, and career with her practice, Studio EESTI.
