Thomas C. Chase Civil War Diary
This collection contains the American Civil War diary of Lieutenant Thomas C. Chase, 26th Michigan Infantry, Commending Ambulance Corps, 1st Division, 2nd Corps. The diary includes 26 pages of entries from December 1864 through March 1865, mostly while he was in charge of the ambulance corps. Entries contain war news, camp life, records of letters to and from home, and some names and addresses in the back.
Roger P. Chew Report,
The collection contains a Confederate Campaign report, "Headquarters Horse Artillery," dated Nov. 16, 1864, signed by Major Roger Preston Chew (1843-1921) as the major commanding Stuart's Horse Artillery in the Army of Northern Virginia. Chew describes troop movements and engagements between May and August of 1864.

This collection consists of photocopies of the thirty-two letters from William T., S. J., and J. W. to each other and to Martha Choate, wife of William, during the American Civil War from 1862 to 1864.

The collection contains a letter written to the editor of a newspaper, Major Harper, by Maria S. encouraging ladies of Raymond and vicinity
to contribute to efforts to sew undergarments, stockings, and mattresses for soldiers serving in the American Civil War. Also includes coversheet which has West Point April 20, 1863
written on it.

The collection contains an American Civil War period envelope with lithograph of Union soldiers on horseback fending off Confederate soldiers on foot. It was published by Charles Magnus of New York.
