Elden E. Billings Collection
This collection contains subject files, clippings, memorabilia, and artifacts related to the American Civil War. There are seven series, five of which predominately contain Civil War materials. The other two series in the collection also contains files on other subjects of Billings' historical interests, including aspects of military and United States history.

This is a lithograph by Antoine Maurin of the first six U.S. presidents. The six presidents are shown chest up in the clouds, with an American Eagle below them holding an olive branch and arrows. Below the eage is the name of the print and some other text in French. Hand written at the bottom is the six presidents names. The condition is fair, signs of conservation present.
John R. Little Certificate of Honorable Service
This collection contains a certificate from the federal government recognizing Private John R. Little (1844-1929), 139th Indiana Volunteer Infantry, for one hundred days of volunteer service in General W. T. Sherman's campaign during the American Civil War. The document was issued to volunteers in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin upon serving one hundred days in the army. The certificate is signed by President Abraham Lincoln and Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton.
Franklin D. Roosevelt Inauguration Collection
This collection contains materials from the third inauguration of the 32nd U.S. President, Franlin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945), on January 20, 1941. The materials include an invitation, a program, a "card of admission" with envelope, and the enclosing envelope for the event.
