Map shows the state highway system of Virginia, as well as construction and detour information. Contains an index of cities and towns, along with an index of accredited institutions of higher learning. Reverse shows photographs of locations of historical interest, as well as maps of cities, traffic sign explanations, and information about the Highway System, including speed limits.

Abstract Item is a color road map throughout Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Contains an index of counties, cities, and towns, as well as a distance chart, explanation of map symbols, and principal radio stations in those states. On the reverse of the map is a 'Pictorial Guide' to the states, which shows illustrations of places of tourist interest. Additionally, the reverse contains maps of significant locales: Baltimore, Washington, Richmond, Wilmington...
