On the reverse of the map is a 'Pictorial Guide' to the states, which shows illustrations of places of tourist interest. Additionally, the reverse contains maps of significant locales: Baltimore, Washington, Richmond, Wilmington (Delaware), Norfolk, and Shenandoah National Park.
