The Walter Reade Hardin, Jr., Collection includes materials collected by a Virginia Tech cadet and band member during his college years. It includes mementos, photographs and newspaper clippings.

The Hardwick Family Collection consists of thirteen items related to Virginia Polytechnic Institute, including correspondence concerning the Corps of Cadets, football, the YMCA, and a 1929 pamphlet entitled, "Talks to Young Men and Boys by Great Athletes," by J.T. Hardwick.

William Gideon Harris's album contains photographs of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI) campus and surrounding areas, c. 1908-1912, as well as several newsclippings and pieces of poetry. .

The Henry H. Hill collection consists of historical and genealogical research compiled by Hill during his lifetime in southwest Virginia. Hill (1880-1954) was an alumni and professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

This collection contains a scrapbook of Edmund Welch Hobbs (member of Virginia Polytechnic Institute's Class of 1932), focusing largely on events at Virginia Tech during Hobbs' years at the university and including programs, dance cards, newspaper clippings, and photographs.

This scrapbook contains photographs and memorabilia dating 1918-1926 from United States Military Academy (West Point) and Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI) by Bertram A. Holtzworth, who attended VPI before graduating from West Point in 1927. He served in the U.S. Army from his time as a cadet at West Point until his retirement as Major General in 1963.

This collection contains a diploma and certificates acquired by the Howard family while Warren Howard was in the United States Army.

This collection contains the papers of Henry Morgan Jacocks, graduate of Virginia Tech (class of 1900), assistant superintendent at Mathieson Alkali Works (Saltville, Virginia), independent businessman, and Virginia State Highway Department employee. Correspondence, trade catalogs, instructional booklets, blueprints, and drawings from Jacocks' years at Mathieson Alkali Works. Also includes a set of drafting standards for the Virginia Bridge and Iron Company and several photographs.

The collection contains the papers (including correspondence, grade reports, receipts, photographs, and textbooks) of Leslie Wallace Jerrell, a student and instructor at Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College (now Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University).
