Framed V.P.I. Science Hall Plate
A gold square shaped frame with a light green matting. Held in the center of the frame with three clear plastic prongs is a small plate, around the size of a tea cup saucer. The plate has a light pink boarder with a repeating floral motif in gold. A light green boarder is inside of the pink boarder. The center of the plate has an image of the Science Hall with grass infront and a blue sky behind.

This collection contains a journal kept from September through November 1912 by William Uncle Bill
Gitt. Gitt was born in Newport, Virginia, and attended the Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College from 1877 to 1878. Gitt later lived in the Number 1 Barracks on campus and worked at the college doing various tasks for the cadets.
