Biographical Note

Thomas Barksdale Hutcheson, Jr. (1926-1985) was born to Thomas Barksdale and Rosalie (Stockard) Hutcheson, Sr. He graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI) in 1950 and married Frances McEver (1931-2021) in 1954. He later taught Agronomy at VPI (1964-1968) and served as head of the Agronomy Department.
